“Psyche: A Journey to a Metal World” is part of the NASA Discovery Program mission to solar system targets. The work is a result of the Psyche Student Collaborations component of NASA’s Psyche Mission (). This work was created in partial fulfillment of Arizona State University Capstone Courses “SER 401”. The purpose is to showcase the actual data and what is already known about other non-Earth bodies and prepare for the datasets that will be returned from Psyche. In preparation for arrival at the Psyche asteroid, teams are working to create a Virtual Reality experience on another planetary body, using stereo pairs and color (if available) from the team’s choice of existing datasets.
